Do you sell authentic leather or synthetic leather?

We only sell real leather of which we can guarantee the total tracing. Any synthetic or other materials are not used.

Can a leather finish be produced in any colour?

For one same finish, you can produce the leather in any colour you wish although some finish/colour combinations may lead to a disappointing result. Our commercial team is available to accompany you in your choices.

Which products can I create with your leather?

HCP Group has a whole range of finishes, each adapted to a different purpose: leather goods (bags, clutch bags), fashion accessories (belts, jewellery), shoe confection or clothes. A range of technical finishes allows us to also use our exotic leather for interior and exterior furniture, automobile upholstery, yachts and even jet interior decoration.

Do you offer a manufacturing service?

We can put you in contact with specialized craftsmen who will be able to create the expected final product. We have a large network of French and European manufacturers who we regularly recommend to our clients. These confection services are not part of our trade.

Are your products traced?

All of our leathers have a unique tracing according to regulation and the requirements of the Washington Convention (CITES). We regularly conduct audits which allows us to rigorously control each sector of activity.

What’s the difference between finish and colour?

The finish describes the actual product: it defines the leather by its flexibility, shine and touch well as the colour comes from a dying process. One same finish can exist in many different colours.

Can I create my own colours?

Yes, your own colours can be developed from a sample or Pantone colour code. HCP Group renews its colour collection every season in order to keep up with trends.

Do you make leather for furnishings?

Our various leathers can be used for any furnishing projects. Indoor/outdoor decorations, yacht and aviation projects, furniture upholstery (sofas, desks, cases, …) are just a few possibilities for the use of our leather. All our types of exotic leathers can also be used such as crocodile, lizard, ostrich or python. Our commercial team will be able to advise you on which finish best suits your project.

Can I visit without an appointment?

Our Paris showroom can be visited without an appointment on weekdays from 9am to 6pm. We would however advise you to book a slot by calling in advance in able for us to best accompany you during your visit.

What is the delivery time for a leather order?

For the leathers available in the site's e-Boutique, deliveries are made in a few days throughout Community Europe. For production orders, the deadlines will be indicated to you by the sales representative when you register your order.

How can I pay and can I pay online?

For purchases made on the e-Boutique, payment is made by credit card. For production orders, payments are made by bank transfer after creating your customer account. For purchases made in our showrooms, payments can be made either by credit card or by transfer. Online, a sales representative will direct you to make the transfer corresponding to your quote.

Are your leathers guaranteed?

Each leather finish has its own technical characteristics. A testing protocol takes place after the production of each piece in order to validate the leathers compliance. Claims are possible but are condition to prior approval from the commercial team. Any damaged or cut leather cannot be returned.

What is the minimum quantity of leather that I can buy?

For existing stock, there is no set minimum for the quantity of leather you can buy. You can come to visit the showroom and leave with just one small piece if you wish. Production orders are submitted to a minimum quantity which will depend on the species and size of the hide required.

Can I ask for samples?

Samples can be provided by our commercial team upon request.

How can I export a leather hide?

Each country has its own regulations when it comes to exotic leather import and export. Our commercial team can advise you depending on the required destination.

Is my basket limited ?

– Yes, when purchasing from our stock your basket is limited to 7 articles per vendor for internal organisation reasons.

Is there a geographic area delivery limit ?

– Visits are possible at the Paris, Le Puy-en-Velay (veal only), Annonay (veal only), Milan and New York showrooms from Monday to Friday, at 9am to 6pm. I ordered items from two different vendors, and I haven’t received my full order, why ?

– Don’t worry, this is normal, each vendor ships its products independently from the other vendors. Each vendor will inform you of the shipping of your order by email.

Is my basket limited ?

– Yes, when purchasing from our stock your basket is limited to 7 articles per vendor for internal organisation reasons.

– When purchasing made-to-order items, your basket is unlimited.

Is there a maximum amount I can spend when purchasing from stock ?

– Yes, your basket cannot exceed the total sum of €10,000.00 excl. tax.

Is there a geographic area delivery limit ?

– Yes, at the moment, delivery is limited to the countries in the European Economic Community (Countries in the EEC).

Can I visit a showroom to see the products before ordering? If yes, at which address ? Do I have to make an appointment beforehand ?

– Visits are possible at the Paris, Le Puy-en-Velay (veal only), Annonay (veal only), Milan and New York showrooms from Monday to Friday, at 9am to 6pm. It is recommended to make an appointment by telephone in order to assist you with your selection. Find the contact details of the showroom that interests you in the Contact us section.

I ordered items from two different vendors, and I haven’t received my full order, why ?

– Don’t worry, this is normal, each vendor ships its products independently from the other vendors. Each vendor will inform you of the shipping of your order by email.

What type of leather is available on the website ?

– Exotic leather: You can find Porosus, Niloticus, Alligator, Varanus Salvator and Ostrich
– Veal leather
– Goat leather

Which vendors are available on the website ?

– Tannerie d’Annonay (veal leather)
– Tanneries du Puy (veal leather)
– Mégisserie Jullien (goat leather)
– Compagnie des Cuirs Précieux (exotic leather)

How can I track the progress of my order ?

– As soon as your payment has been registered, you will receive an email summarising the content of your basket and confirming your payment.

– When your order is shipped, each vendor will send you the delivery tracking information.

– As soon as your order has been received at your delivery point, you will receive an information email.

An item does not suit me; how can I return it ?

– As soon as you receive your order, go to the “Contact Us” section, select your vendor, provide your order number and contact details in order to be contacted rapidly.

I have received a different product to the one I ordered; how can I return it ?

– As soon as you receive your order, go to the “Contact Us” section, select your vendor, provide your order number, and contact details in order to be contacted rapidly.

What are the shipping fees ?

– If the total Excl. Tax amount of your basket is more or equal to €400.00, the delivery fees will be free of charge.

– For a basket of an amount less than €400.00, the delivery fees are fixed depending on the weight of your package and its destination. The delivery cost will be displayed when you validate your basket.

Can my order be delivered to a different address than my billing address ?

Yes, when validating your payment, you can choose a different delivery address. The shipping address must be in one of the countries in the European Economic Community (country of the EEC).

How can I cancel or modify an order that has already been validated ?

If you wish to cancel or modify an order, we advise you to contact our customer service department as soon as possible, by telephone or by email.

How can I track my package ?

As soon as an order is shipped by a vendor, you will receive a notification email containing the tracking information.
