Jullien Tawery, specializing in goat leather with over a hundred years’experience, joined Hcp Group in 2020. For book binding or small leather goods, discover our goat leather tawery.
The history of our tawery begins in the early 1920’s when its creator, Alfred Jullien, transformed goat hides through tanning.
Today, our tannery provides leather for leading brands. One of the main products is a chagrin goat leather, the grain of which is brought out naturally using a complex manual technique.
Through our technical expertise when it comes to leather for book binding, our craftsmanship has made a name for itself in the editing world. We supply, among others, the prestigious Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF: French National Library).
The Breteuil finish – famous finish with a grained and satin effect – has also allowed us to introduce Jullien Tawery into the world of small leather goods with over a hundred colors available. Once again, our excellent reputation has earnt us recognition in France and across Europe.
