On the occasion of the new HCP 2017-2018 Fall-Winter collection, “Re-(E)volution”, Louisiane Spa organised the first edition of the “Arte e Pelle” event.

This event, dedicated to the preview presentation of the new range of exotic leathers, has likewise permitted the discovery of seven works of art created by young Milanese artists, inspired by the themes and colours of this season. The marriage of our materials (exotic leather) with the creative vision of these young artists became the centre of “Arte e Pelle”, an event born from the importance that we place in the connection between creativity and innovation. We think that this connection is crucial to all dynamic and cutting-edge enterprises that wish to keep up with the times in the midst of a sector like ours, in constant evolution.

The seven emerging artists highlighted during this evening event were selected from among a vast number of potential candidates. Their works were judged by all the participants present at the evening event of 7 July 2016. Each artist was asked to be inspired by the new HCP 2017-2018 Fall-Winter collection and to use his or her creativity to give life to a work of art using the artistic domain personally chosen.

The 50 or so invited guests present, as well as the representatives of the HCP Executive Committee, each voted for their preferred work.

It was the shamanism of Luca Andriani, currently a student at the Bocconi University of Milan, that obtained first place. Luca’s photography will be presented in the Première Vision exhibition in Paris, and in the Lineapelle exhibition in Milan.

The artist will also be present at these exhibitions to talk about his sources of inspiration and creative process.
